FIA Arrive and Drive

In May 2025 the FIA made an announcement that they now consider arrive and drive karting a major component in motorsport. It is said that all current drivers on the F1 grid all started in arrive and drive karting.
With the growing popularity of leisure karting and the affordability of racing around the world it is a proven untapped source for future drivers on motorsport. Drivers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are able to come together and go head to head in competition, in both 4 Stroke and 2 Stroke engines. Leisure karting also allows drivers to race in different countries more easily with affordable options for all in sprint races and endurance racing.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “In order to grow participation, we must expand the base of the karting pyramid to allow as many people as possible to experience karting for the very first time. We are very clear. Karting will become the focus on our future strategy on Equality and Diversity with the FIA Karting department at the heart of our growth plans.”
Cole Clarke Racing (as a leisure karting organisation) is working closely with Bushy Park in Barbados to bring new opportunities in the leisure kart market and develop new opportunities for the drivers in Barbados and the wider Caribbean in motor sport and provide new opportunities for all. Cole Clarke Racing is not part of and has never spoken to the FIA on their new championships for arrive and drive karting.
